Delete your Glowmax account or data

Glowmax is built and operated by App Galaxies. This page explains how to delete your Glowmax account, or just some of your data, what gets removed, what we keep, and how long we retain anything. You can do everything below yourself inside the app, or ask us to do it for you by email.

1. Delete your entire account

Deleting your account permanently removes your Glowmax profile and all of the data associated with it. You can request it in either of these ways:

In the app (one tap)

  • Open Glowmax and go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
  • Type the word delete to confirm, then tap Permanently delete.
  • Confirm the final prompt. Your account and data are then deleted and you are signed out.

By email

Email support@appgalaxies.com from the email address on your account (or, if you signed in with Apple or Google, tell us which one and the name on your profile) with the subject "Delete my Glowmax account". We will verify your request and permanently delete your account and associated data.

2. Delete some of your data (keep your account)

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. You can delete specific data and keep using Glowmax:

  • Delete a single scan. On the Progresstab, open a scan and choose to delete it. This removes that scan's photos and scores from our servers immediately.
  • Auto-delete your scan photos. Under Settings → Notifications you can set how long uploaded scan photos are kept before they are automatically deleted — 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days (7 days by default).
  • By email. Prefer us to remove specific data? Email support@appgalaxies.com from your account email describing what you'd like deleted, and we will take care of it.

3. What data is deleted

When you delete your account, we delete the data we hold about you, including:

  • Your profile details (name, username, date of birth, sex, and the email or Apple/Google sign-in linked to your account);
  • All of your face scans and their scores and sub-scores;
  • All uploaded scan photos in our cloud storage;
  • Your glow-up plans, routines, and progress history;
  • The lifestyle inputs you entered (such as sleep, water, exercise, sun exposure, and stress);
  • Your AI coach conversations;
  • Your subscription record in our database (see retention note below about store billing);
  • Your device and push-notification tokens.

Your scan photos are only ever sent to our AI processors — Google and Replicate, Inc. — transiently, through short-lived expiring links, to generate your results. They do not retain your photos after processing and never use them to train models.

4. What is kept and for how long

When you delete your account, we remove your account and associated data from our active systems right away. Any residual copies in our encrypted backups are fully purged within 30 days. A few things work differently:

  • Active subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and continue until the end of your current billing period — deleting your account does not cancel store billing. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
  • Aggregated or de-identified data. We may keep information that can no longer reasonably be used to identify you (for example, anonymized, aggregate statistics).
  • Legally required records. We may retain a limited set of records we are required to keep (for example, transaction records for tax and fraud prevention) for the period required by law.
